CRAWFORD RELEASE FIRST VIDEO FROM THEIR NEW ALBUM "44" - WAR

The first video from Crawford's album Forty Four finally hit youtube this week. Edited and directed by Scott Millard, with camera assistance by Tom Birch, Crawford's War clip has old school feel and an independent spirit.
CRAWFORD REVEAL THE NAME OF THEIR UPCOMING ALBUM

Crawford is a four-piece rock band from Singapore that was formed in early 2010. Comprised of expatriates from both Australia and the United Kingdom whom found themselves living in Singapore, their mutual interest in playing music brought them together and since their inception they have recorded two EP’s, Fighting Fires in 2010 and Stripped Bare in 2011 and released five music video’s.
In February 2012 Crawford teamed up again with Leonard Soosay, whom also recorded their Stripped Bare EP, at Singapore’s Snakeweed studios and recorded their third recording and release, to be entitled ‘Forty Four’.
When quizzed about the album title Singer songwriter Justin Birch would only state “ it is a nod to Adele’s logic, and I will not comment any further”
Crawford,s ‘Forty Four’ album is an interesting perspective on the modern lives of ordinary men. Not written by young men about love, fun and fury, ‘Forty Four’ is a smart narrative of the expectations, fear and pressure of modern society and how its manifestation haunts us all. Serious stories but always told with a twist, and some instances a twist of a knife.
“Forty Four” will be released in April 2012. The band will announce their upcoming album launch to be held in Singapore, on March the 20th 2012 on this site and their Facebook page.

CRAWFORD TO RELEASE STRIPPED BARE ON CD THIS COMING APRIL

After a year of being available as a digital only release, Crawford are taking steps to finally release Stripped Bare on CD format. The release is scheduled for April 2012 and will likely be released along side their “Forty Four” album.
The EP features “Rain”, “Shadow Man” and “Eddie Adams”. The videos of which are available for viewing on Youtube and for a very short time, until 20th of March, will be available for free download at Crawfords Bandcamp.
Stripped Bare was the first recording collaboration between Crawford and Leonard Soosay and was there most musically adventurous recording to date.
